Rotary Club of Muntinlupa North

It was during the term of PDG Oskie de Venecia (RY 1988-1989) when a call was made to various clubs within the district to further strengthen it with the club extension of the Rotary International program.

Our mother club, Rotary Club of Muntinlupa, was among the first who immediately responded.  Led by Pres. Bien Leofando and Secretary Eddie Destor, they took time out and started laying the ground works for the formation of a new club and eyeing the northern part of progressive town of Muntinlupa as its territorial limits.  Two new and most active members of the club were tapped to spearhead the organization -- Greg Rellera and Bert Aggabao as CP Resty Santos and PP Benny De Mesa were designated by the District Governor as DGSRs to guide them in its formation.

On May 2, 1989, the Rotary Club of Muntinlupa North was officially charted by Rotary International and on August 19, 1989 its Charter Induction was held at the Philippine Village Hotel with CP Greg Rellera as the Charter President.

From 1989 up to the present, the club had continued to grow and prosper under the able leadership of its Presidents.  True to its calling, the Rotary Club of Muntinlupa North has along the years embarked on various projects on the five avenues of SERVICE - CLUB, COMMUNITY, VOCATIONAL, INTERNATIONAL and YOUTH.  Within 19 years of existence, since then, the club made a great leap to a prominent height it has never gone before and found its niche among the clubs in District 3830.
